On the afternoon of  April 1st, 2021, volunteers from School of Electrical Engineering of Chongqing University went to Shapingba District Tianxingqiao Cadres Rest Center visiting the retired cadres, and organized handmade paper flowers activities for them.

Volunteers were paired with each elderly person in small groups, then taught them how to make paper flowers by hand and helped them complete a series of handmake steps including paper-cutting, folding, glueing and final flower shape making. During the activity, the retired military cadres were chatting with our volunteers about their experience of life and work, and constantly encouraged the volunteers to study hard, strive to be the backbone of our country, and bring honours to our country.

At the end of the activity, the retired cadres and volunteers took group photos, together with their lovely paper flowers in front of the camera, drawing a successful full stop for this activity.
