2015 National Youth Science Camp in Universities-Chongqing University Branch Camp Kicks Off

The branch camp of 2015 National Youth Science Camp in Universities was kicked off on July 16 at Chongqing University. More than 240 high-school students from Guangdong, Jiangxi and other provinces came to Chongqing and attended the opening ceremony under the companion of their teachers. The campers visited the State Key Laboratory of Power Transmission Equipment & System Security and New Technology, attended two keynote lectures delivered by professors Xingliang Jiang and Xiaofu Xiong. Several top students from the School of Electrical Engineering communicated with these campers via sharing their experiences upon study and campus life in Chongqing University as well as guided them to participate in a series of fascinating scientific experiments. The camp has pre-released college life over the campers, very much interested the young in science and engineering technology.
